GRWM: My Favorite Everyday Skin and Makeup Products for a Natural, Dewy Look

New here? Welcome! Since I’m not one for videos (yet) but a skincare/makeup product breakout down is one of my most requested topics, I wanted to share my “Get Ready With Me” BLOG EDITION. This is what I do for an everyday makeup look. The best part? It’s quick, easy and uses most of my holy grail products. Click the links on any of the products below to shop, and as always share, comment and most importantly ENJOY!

Skin Prep

When it comes to a natural dewy but NOT oily look, it can be really tricky, especially as the seasons change. Luckily right now in New England we’re not battling much heat so this combo has been giving me the perfect natural glow that’s just the right amount of sheen! Four months ago my skin was no where near being this clear so all the products I use that are mentioned in this post are non comedogenic and keep acne prone skin in mind.

1.Skin Better Science Alto Defense Serum

This is hands down my favorite medical grade skin care product I’ve ever used. I use it first thing in the morning when I wake up and apply my make up right on top of it. My skin care routine right now follows the golden rule of less is more and this serum gives me everything I’d want and more, especially since I only like to put one thing on my skin in the morning. Vitamin C sometimes clogs my pores but this one has been super gentle and so far so good with the breakouts, not to mention make up glides on perfectly over this.

2.Olehenrikson Banana Bright Eye Cream

I’ve mentioned this one before on my blog, but I love a good product that visibly changes the way I look. This under eye cream truly brightens underneath my eyes while also making my skin feel super hydrated.

3.First Aid Beauty Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer

Primers can be tricky, but First Aid Beauty nailed it with this product. The price is right, it smells good, it’s lightweight AND it gives my skin a subtle sheen which is exactly what I’m looking for when attempting a dewy makeup look.

Face Makeup

  1. Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Anti Pollution Bronzing Drops

The perfect bronzing drops in a bottle. Mix half a pump of this with your favorite foundation or tinted moisturizer for a natural, bronzed glow.

  2. Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra Light Skin Perfecting Makeup in 30 Beige

My ALL TIME FAVORITE foundation. Although it’s on the pricey side, it’s worth the splurge! It’s light-medium coverage and feels like you don’t have anything on your face. Not to mention it really blurs all imperfections.

  3. Tarte Tape Shape Under Eye Concealer in 270S

Say goodbye to dark circles! You probably know all about this one and if you think it’s too heavy try it with the product below.

  4. Becca Under Eye Brightening Powder

The only setting powder I’ve ever liked is this Becca under eye setting powder. It’s not cakey and it doesn’t leave your under eyes bright white. If you have fine lines this will DRAMATICALLY help your concealer from sinking in and causing creasing.

  5. Charlotte Tillbury Hollywood Contour Wand

It’s a love/hate with this product since I think I need a darker shade but for a natural look, I really love how subtle it is and the liquid consistency. To use I put the product on the back of my hand first, then blend it in with a brush.

  6. Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam

Glossier makes the perfect no makeup makeup and I love how easy cloud paint is to blend. I dab it on my cheeks and the bridge of my nose and blend it out with a damp beauty blender for a sun-kissed glow.

  7. Bobbi Brown Highlighter in Moon Glow

This is my new go to highlighter and it’s subtle but stunning. You truly can’t go wrong with any Bobbi Brown makeup.

Eyes

  1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyeshadow Palette

My tried and true eye shadow palette. For this look I use the shade Cyprus for my top eyeliner.

  1. Chanel Mascara

While I like to switch my mascara brand often just for fun, Chanel mascara is one of my all time favorites for bold and volumized lashes.

Lips

1.Charlotte Tillbury Lip Liner in Iconic Nude

The perfect natural lip liner for an everyday makeup look.

2.Ulta Plumping Lip Gloss in Clear

The most affordable plumping lip gloss I’ve ever used and it actually works. Here I'm wearing it in the clear shade but I also love Sweet Taffy for a natural look.
